Yay it's future Yarifeth and loa Meiles XD

The reason that Yari has health potions as well is because being a belf, her body can't handle the blood voodoo as well as Meiles can with his troll regeneration. It's easy enough if she can grab a fresh victim to bleed and feed to Meiles, but most of the time she has to work with her own blood. And with that method, the stronger the spell, the bigger the toll on her (some really powerful ones can leave her incapacitated for days).

No more fel magic eyes because the blood voodoo has been feeding her magic addiction for a long time now!

This here is a present to me of sorts from . She sent me money and said to count that as a commission to draw whatever the hell I want. I was like AAAAAASDFGH crap, it's a Christmas gift that brought tears to my eyes! Considering how busy I am with commissions, actually having someone buy me time for myself was touching beyond words Thank you, ~hearmemeep!

Okay, so I went into a deeper explanation about how this happens in the comments, so I thought I'd cut and paste it here ^^:

The years after Meiles' death are a bit depressing! She mopes for a few years then decided that if Meiles can commune with spirits, then so could she. However, you know how trolls are regarding outsiders so there was no one who would take her on as an apprentice for their craft. So it's generally 20 years of Yari crying tears of frustration trying to learn his voodoo by herself, based on the small things she picked up while being his assistant. With no one to mentor her, it's a lot of guesswork and trial and error since Meiles' magic is unique to him and his brother (who are now both dead), and it's not like they left behind any documentation.

Of course, what she didn't realize was that the whole time, Meiles' spirit was hovering over her. Which is a really good thing, because one thing she didn't realize is how dangerous voodoo and spiritwork could be. For those 20 years, Meiles had his hands full as he fends off all the bad juju she's been attracting with her half-baked spells, incomplete rituals, and poorly cast wards =_=

Needless to say, that when she FINALLY made a huge breakthrough and was able to communicate with Meiles, the first thing that met her happy teary eyes was a long string of @*%^#((^%#($%^&^!(%!

But then after that she finally got proper mentoring, and Meiles taught her how to feed his spirit and "worship" him as a loa. (...and may at times make her perform certain sex rituals that involve self-pleasure, that may or may not be as important as he says they are... I mean, yes, they do help, but probably not at the magnitude that he leads her to believe XP)

But anyway, yeah, that's pretty much how his transitioning was done. It was a long grueling process
