The New Orokuby =yapi

Raaaargh this took me all day! =_= Mostly it was the inking that slowed me down. Inking digitally is a bitch, but I do like the outcome better than traditional inking, so I sometimes bear with it. I got really lazy by the time I could color though, so I kept the coloring style simple.

Again, I still don't have a determined style of how I draw the turtles, so I'm still experimenting a bit

Now on with the story.

Yoko set to work right away establishing a headquarters in New York. Instead of having one large headquarters like the Foot and the Dragons did, she opted for a smaller building with subquarters scattered all around the city. She began buying up land and property, failing businesses, as well as space in the docks under the name of Takigawa Enterprises, assisted by a partnership with Oroku Industries. This sent the stock market in a flurry as property values escalated under the new ownership, and the business world was abuzz with the news of the new conglomerate giant in town, as well as the young new CEO of powerhouse corporation Oroku Industries.

This caught the attention of the turtles and Donatello immediately began investigating this new Oroku that suddenly came out of the woodwork. Leonardo was especially suspicious as Karai was suddenly nowhere to be found. Another thing they noticed was that if you look closely during news reports and newspaper articles involving Takigawa Enterprises and Oroku Industries, you can sometimes spot a certain young girl clad in a black suit standing somewhere in the background.

Upon further investigation Donatello was able to find the yakuza connection behind Takigawa Industries, although there was no proof that the company was not 100% legit. There was also almost no information about Oroku Ryuu to be found anywhere. As for the girl in black, she could also be seen lurking in the background in pictures from Japanese articles.

Niiiice! This is really different for you! Damn you chameleon of art! I envy your ability to pull off different styles like this.

Haha my art style suffers from schizophrenia sometimes! Once in a while I wonder if someone will call me an art thief because my inconsistencies are suspicious

But I like experimenting!
