Did you know that my middle name is Cruz? You don't care? Oh well.
I had a box of Cray-Pas, or Oil Pastels lying around and I thought I'd give them a try
Anyway, I was too lazy to draw a new picture so I dug around my scratch papers for something that I could color and I unearthed this old fanart sketch of Soma Cruz that I made long long long ago. Castlevania is love, by the way.
Unfortunately, the sketch was done on smooth bond/typing paper which is not exactly the best paper to use for oil pastels! Soooo, I end up with this FRIGGIN' MESS =______=
The paper was too smooth so the pastels didn't have anything to hold on to, so the colors would just clump up and glide around the surface! Gaaaaargh. But since I spent time coloring it, might as well post it up. Will move to scraps later.
Sometime when I'm not busy with other things I shall try using these damn pastels again on BETTER PAPER =_=
