I had to wait until after Xmas to upload it since it's supposed to be a surprise and we didn't want her to accidentally chance upon it!

When he first proposed this commission to me, the first thought that came into my head after checking out her gallery was "WTF ARE YOU SHITTING ME, YOU WANT ME TO DRAW FOR HER??? Omg omg omg omg she's gonna think my art is shit and that I butchered her orc aaargh asdfgh asdfgh asdfgh."

Yes, I am highly insecure and very easily intimidated, har har har! It's one thing when the artist themselves approaches me and asks me to draw for them, because they know what my stuff looks like and generally know what to expect. It's another when they're gonna get a "surprise, Yapi drew your character!"

But it's very nice that ~Axl-X had faith in me! Thank you! I hopes she likes it XD

Haha, believe me, I am! I mean, I'm okay *enough* with it to not think that I'm a complete noob at arting, and very often I do and up being quite happy with what I've done. The problem is when I start looking at the artwork of other artists; then all my shortcomings just seem to all jump out and scream at me and then the feeling of inadequacy rushes in!

Which also explains why I have never joined a single contest in my life, because I'm too afraid to be laughed out of it XD

But thank you, nonetheless! It's actually the encouraging words of people that keep me going, and even when there are people who diss my stuff it just drives me to keep trying to be better :3
