Artist's Comments

Just a quick painting I made for the students, done on the side of a cardboard box. This served as my sample for my middle school art class' unit on color value and monochromatic painting :)

I wanted something simple as to not to intimidate them too much on their first try on painting with acrylics. Especially since the boys love to throw the "you are an artist, we are not" card on me, hahaha!

And before someone mentions it, I wave the artistic license card regarding the placement of the moon's reflection :D
